We are delighted to announce that Ozge Topçu is the Gulbenkian / AiR 351 Grant 2019 recipient.
In response to this call AiR 351 has received 199 applications from all over the world. We acknowledge the high standard of this outstanding number of proposals. For this reason it was a difficult task to reach a final decision.
Our team wishes to thank all candidates for their interest on this program, for their time investment building strong applications. We also express our gratitude to our jury for their review and to the Gulbenkian Foundation for making this opportunity possible.

Özge Topçu, born in 1987, lives and works in Istanbul. She graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Art and Design, Combined Arts Program. Afterwards, she attended master program at Marmara University, Fine Arts Institute, Painting Department and continued her education at Burg Giebchischenstein Kunsthochschule Halle Germany. In 2018, she was nominated for the The MAC Belfast, Ulster Bank International Artist Award. Currently she has a solo show in İstanbul which calls Flat Earth W axis at Pilot Gallery.
