In November 2023, during a studio visit at AiR 351, Alice Miceli and Michael Marder realized they had lived and worked in several countries which had been traumatized by different kinds of events.
By noticing this confluence of paths and interests AiR 351 has invited both of them to continue this conversation at a live event, where they could address the topic of the trauma of these places, either as a consequence of nuclear disasters, war zones or ecological devastation.
Within the framework of their own work and personal histories, Miceli and Marder will discuss the role of art, philosophy and collaboration as an attempt to overcome these collective and more-than-human traumatic situations.
